Institutional Philosophy
The purpose of the school is to provide quality education to students seeking careers in medically related fields. In an effort to fill the needs of these professions for trained personnel, and to provide meaningful and fulfilling careers to capable individuals, the school maintains the highest level of professional dedication. The school is constantly updating its curricula, recognizing its obligation to the students and the professions they serve.
 
History
Sunshine Training Center was founded in 1999 for the sole purpose of providing continuing education for healthcare providers. Michel Poitevien founded Sunshine Training Center after having taught in the same field for over ten years. Gina Berrette, our Chief Academic Officer is not only a Licensed Practical Nurse, but also has a Child Development Associate and a Diploma in introduction to Early Childhood Education. Consequently, Sunshine Training Center is a School with consistent background. Sunshine Training Center provides essential training services to more than 50,000 corporate employees, healthcare professionals, emergency response personnel and community residents yearly.

The school is currently licensed by the Florida board of Non-Public Career Education Department of Education, Florida Education Center, Tallahassee, Florida 32301 - Phone: 850 488 9504.
